On January 21, 2009, a Chinese New Year party was held at CAEF’s ground floor. Everyone had a good time with our programs: dumpling-making, Spring Festival couplets writing and not to mention those delicious sweet dumplings.
Dumpling, traditional Chinese food, it symbolizes peace and prosperity. There is a traditional saying in northern China ‘nothing is more delicious than dumplings’. During Chinese New Year, dumpling is a must-have for every Chinese family. That’s the reason why dumpling-making was an important part of our party. Just look at everyone, isn’t it such a happy occasion.
