- The number of athletes and coaches benefited from the program rose from 4 in 2004 (including LI Xiao Peng, TENG Hai Bin and ZHANG Yi Ning) to over 400 in 2008.

- Works with higher institutes in China to provide study plans for athletes after retirement;
- Provides scholarships for athletes to study abroad and to widen their horizons.

- Assists retiring athletes who are going to attend universities to adapt to new lives.

- Organizes golf and other sports tournaments to promote and raise funds;
- CAEF beneficiary & International Sports Bodies
- HUANG Liping became a memeber of Men's Technical Committee of FIG;
- LUO Xuejuan is a member of Athletes Committee of FINA;
- YANG Yang is a member of International Anti-doping Association and a candidate for the election of memebers of the Athletes committee of IOC;
- LIU Xuan became a FIG judge.
