The Chinese Athletes Educational Foundation, CAEF, was founded by Chinese World Champions and Olympic Champions including LI Ning, CAI Zhen Hua, LI Yang Bo, XU Hai Feng, ZHOU Ji Hong, HUANG Yu Bin, ZHANG Rong Fang, XIONG Ni, LI Xiao Shuang, LI Chun Yang. CAEF was registered in Hong Kong as Public Charitable Institution (Trust Exempt) on March 10, 2001 (Registered Number: 91/6114).

Our Mission is to provide trainings in languages, sports management, business administration, and etc. for top Chinese (including from Hong Kong, Macau and Chinese Taipei) athletes and coaches, and to the retired who aim to pursue a career in international sports governing bodies. Furthermore, we will assist and arouse Chinese sports section's awareness to sponsor dropout students and those at risk of dropping out to continue schooling in China's rural, poverty-stricken areas.
